Hot air balloon flights will be available during the festival, from certain commercial pilots.
The ticket price will be $180.00 USD per person.

FAQ: Q: How do I pay? A: Payment should be made, in cash, to the pilot, at the end of the flight.
Q: How long is a flight? A: The typical flight lasts from 45 minutes to just over an hour and the decision to land is at the sole discretion of the pilot.
Q: How will we get back to the launch field? A: Each balloon crew has a chase vehicle that will retrieve the balloon, pilot and passengers. If you have family or friends that will also be chasing the balloon, they should follow in their own vehicle.
Q: How Should I dress? A: We recommend long-legged pants, sturdy shoes and layers on top. DO NOT wear open toed shoes or clothing made from nylon.
Q: Which is better, morning or evening flights? A: Morning flights have a higher success rate and tend to last longer.
Q: Who determines if someone is eligible to fly? A: Passengers fly at the sole discretion of the pilot.
Q: What about weather? A: Hot air balloon flights are highly weather dependent. If the conditions are rainy, have poor visibility or high wind speeds then the flight is unlikely to go ahead. Most pilots will not only take the legal minimum weather conditions into account, but also whether the conditions will make for an enjoyable flight.
Note: Some pilots come early and stay late, if you would like to try for a flight before or after the festival, just ask.
